Bail Template

Typst template for generating a French furnished lease (bail d'habitation meuble). It also includes the matching guarantor deed (acte de cautionnement). The repo also contains an état des lieux template.

Usage

From the repository root:

./build.sh

This builds all PDFs directly without Nix.

nix run

This builds all PDFs:

• tmp/bail-template.pdf
• tmp/caution-template.pdf
• tmp/etat-lieux-template.pdf

nix run .#caution

This builds the guarantor deed at tmp/caution-template.pdf.

nix run .#etat-lieux

This builds the état des lieux at tmp/etat-lieux-template.pdf.

Other Nix Commands

nix build

Builds all PDFs as a Nix store artifact.

nix build .#caution

Builds the guarantor deed as a Nix store artifact.

nix build .#etat-lieux

Builds the état des lieux as a Nix store artifact.

nix develop

Opens a shell with typst available.

Editing Data

Lease-specific values live in bail-variables.yaml.
